MAXQDA 24 cannot open the .mqda format of a MAXQDA project, but you can save a MAXQDA project to the .mx24 file format used by MAXQDA 24.
Open your project file in MAXQDA and go to Home > Save Project As.
In the following dialog window set the file type to "MAXQDA 24 Project (*.mx24)", enter a file name, select a location to save the project file to, and then click Save.
