Your responsibilities:
- Generate new elements and design components according to the guidelines of the design system for integration into existing projects.
- Work on refining specific user interface elements such as buttons, icons, or color schemes based on established design guidelines and feedback.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the design system and asset management to ensure it remains up-to-date, well-organized, and easily accessible for the design team.
- Conceptualize and define features, user stories, and performance goals through rapid wireframing and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Create engaging and user-friendly experiences that connect with our users.
- Develop user interface designs from conception to final handoff to ensure a visually appealing, intuitive, and functional user experience.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including UX designers, developers, and product managers, to translate wireframes and prototypes into well-executed designs.
What we are looking for:
- Your (academic) background is not relevant: We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, creative thinking, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Thorough understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Experience in developing responsive designs for various devices.
- Knowledge of common methods and current trends in user interface design.
- Willingness to learn new design technologies and methods and adapt to them.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Genuine enthusiasm for design, reflected in your work, combined with a cooperative team spirit.
- Excellent English skills; good German skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with agile software development (e.g., Jira) and basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for web development are desirable.
- A reliable, independent work style, teamwork, and analytical thinking complete your profile.
