The MAXQDA logbook is a feature in MAXQDA that helps you keep a journal of your analysis work. The term logbook is usually used in connection with ocean navigation, where it was used to record meaningful happenings and observations. You can use it in a similar way for your MAXQDA projects.
With the logbook you and your team have an easy tool to help keep track of what you’ve done and when. The logbook is set up to have the newest entries at the top, so you don’t need to scroll down to get to the most relevant info.
How to get there
Just call up the logbook through the button in the MAXQDA Standard toolbar and create a new entry by clicking on the button on the far left of the toolbar. This automatically inserts a date and timestamp and your user name at the top of the page. After you enter your text you are free to edit, export or print your logbook.
