Explore the main functions of MAXQDA with our excellent 12 lessons step-by-step curriculum (examples and exercises are provided).	User forum On our website we provide our users with a discussion forum where they can share tips, experiences, questions etc.	Languages MAXQDA is fully Unicode based, thus our software will be able to work with any language in the world. Moreover we offer the MAXQDA interface in six different languages English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. The language is chosen within MAXQDA (go to the help menu > language). Manuals are available in English, Spanish, Japanese and German language.	Specials We provide special support for teaching. PC-Labs may be equipped with MAXQDA at an incredible low price. MAXQDA This version contains the core product MAXQDA plus the add-on module MAXMaps, a graphics tool allowing for a graphical representation of all the elements within a MAXQDA project as well as of elements from outside MAXQDA.	MAXQDAplus This version additionally contains the add-on MAXDictio, a fully integrated software for dictionary based content analysis. MAXDictio allows for setting up word frequency lists, dictionaries, stop- and go- lists etc. For more information, please check out the functionality of MAXDictio on our website.				Commercial This is the standard pricing which applies to all costumers except those meeting the criteria for governmental/NGO or educational prices.	Governmental/NGO Governmental Licenses apply to public institutions, charitable organisations, NGO’s and their employees.	Educational Educational Licenses are only available for educational institutions like universities, colleges, any kind of schools, and their employees.
License options
Single-user This license is computer based and may be installed on one single computer and one laptop, where it may be used alternatively to the version on the desktop PC. Both have to be owned by the same license holder. Only one installation at a time may be used. Single-user licenses can be purchased in any desired amount and will get the same discounts as network licenses.	Portable This license is USB flash drive based and allows for an extraordinary flexibility. The license holder may work with MAXQDA on any computer the USB flash drive is plugged into. This license is extremely helpful e.g. in special field research situations or for working with MAXQDA in varying settings. Note: A portable license makes MAXQDA a physical item tied to the specific USB flash drive where it is installed on. Under no circumstances does VERBI take any responsibility in case the MAXQDA license is not available due to loss, theft or damage of the USB flash-drive the software is installed on. Regardless of the legal responsibility of the license holder we recommend users who cannot access their MAXQDA license because of hardware problems to contact info@maxqda.com in order to work out a satisfying individual solution.	Network These are multi-user licenses allowing for concurrent (floating) use of the software. Network licenses may be installed on any network constellation including terminal-servers. Any quantity of licenses may be purchased, starting with a minimum of 5 licenses. The network licenses may be granted access to twice the amount of computers as the purchased number of licenses is. For example, purchasing a 10-user license will entitle 20 computers to access MAXQDA, while 10 computers at a time will have access (= concurrent use / floating license). Note: Network licenses can only be ordered at a minimum of 5 users.	PC-Lab This license is an extremely low-priced special support for teaching. The installation is network based and may be installed on up to 30 PCs in a computer lab. The license holder guarantees that only computers in a PC-Lab are equipped with this license. The use is strictly limited to teaching purposes and may not be used for research projects (except of teaching related research projects). Using a PC-Lab license requires the existence or simultaneous purchasing of at least one single or a network license.	Student This is a heavily reduced single-user license. A student license may be installed on one computer. It is PERSONAL AND PRIVATE and may under no circumstances be installed on a non-private computer. A student license can only be ordered by students who have proven their student status by submitting a current student ID together with a photo ID (e.g. drivers license). Order & delivery address has to be the private address of the student placing the order. A Student license is not eligible for an upgrade. Please read our EULA carefully concerning this matter.		PurchasePurchasing allows for using the software without time limit. Purchase qualifies for all the included services listed below. Purchase does NOT include upgrades, i.e. new versions of MAXQDA. License holders of purchased license may obtain a new version at a 50% discount as long as there are no more than 6 years, respectively 2 versions of MAXQDA between the initial purchase and the upgrade purchase. or Lease? Leasing provides MAXQDA licenses based on the annual lease rate presented in the total amount. The rate is equivalent to a third of the purchase price, based on an average three-year cycle of releasing a new version of the software. The lease period will be renewed automatically if the contract is not terminated two month before the lease period ends/extends. Leasing licenses include the supply of new versions of the software and thus qualify as an economically and administratively efficient option for constantly keeping the software up-to-date. Leasing licenses include all services provided for purchase licenses. The leasing option starts at a minimum of 5 licenses.		Upgrade Upgrade prices (50% reduction) are available for registered license holders of MAXqda1and MAXqda2. Upgrade packages are only available in analogy to the already existing MAXQDA licenses. Student Licences cannot be upgraded.
