Visual analysis for Masters and PhD students studying modules related to International Relations broadly and Security Studies particularly

I hold a PhD. in counter-terrorism and media studies. My PhD. thesis is entitled "Acting Like A State - Visual Analysis of IS's (Staged) Performances of Modern Stateness". I used MAXQDA software for my PhD thesis in which I conducted a visual analysis on 374 official IS videos, spanning 63 hours in duration, and investigated the state-like performances projected in those videos. The use of MAXQDA for the project was a game changer and helped me acquire high-level qualitative and quantitative analysis, which helped produce excellent analysis. My book, which is based on the PhD thesis, will be out in January 2025. Besides core findings, it also mentions the insights gained from the use of MAXQDA software for the visual analysis.
