Experience

I have utilized the MAXQDA software for conducting various mixed and qualitative research investigations. Here are some examples:

  • Perceptions and attitudes of users and non-users of Seguro Popular in Mexico, conducted by CIDE, IIJ/UNAM in 2010. This study involved systematizing 512 interviews with 16 key social actors from all 32 states in Mexico.
  • Diagnosis of knowledge and perceptions on gender and human rights among the personnel of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, carried out by SCJN, IIJ in September 2011. This research involved in-depth interviews and focus groups with magistrates, judges, secretary of study and account, and administrative staff, totaling 140 interviews and 12 focus groups.
  • Exploratory study on opinions and teaching and management practices regarding the design and implementation of the science curriculum in compulsory education in Mexico, conducted by the National Institute for the Evaluation of Education in Mexico (INEE) from October 2014 to February 2015. This study involved 12 focus groups with head teachers of compulsory education in Mexico.
  • Diagnosis: Case study on the delivery of justice through the Judiciary, specifically the Superior Court of Justice of the state of Tabasco, carried out by IIJ, UNAM from 2013 to 2014. This study included 70 interviews with jurisdictional, administrative, and user personnel.
