Experience | I am currently a postdoctoral researcher (PhD in Education) at the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education. My research centers on multilingualism and education, with a particular focus on pedagogical translanguaging, teachers’ and parents’ attitudes toward multilingualism, and multilingual picture books. I also investigate the use of digital media and artificial intelligence for teaching and learning, as well as recognition theory, adopting an interdisciplinary perspective that draws on education, linguistics, didactics, and psychology, and integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches within a mixed methods framework. For example, I am currently investigating the academic, cognitive, and motivational potentials of mono- and bilingual learning environments with a mixed methods explanatory design (BiPra-Text), as part of a third-party funded project I secured at the German Research Foundation (DFG). Since 2018, I have been leading workshops on both basic and advanced MAXQDA functionalities, including instruction on applying the software to specific methodological approaches such as e.g. mixed methods, qualitative content analysis, and corpus-based content analysis. In addition, I provide specialized consulting workshops on the use of MAXQDA in conjunction with particular methodological frameworks for concrete research projects. |
