Experience | I hold a PhD in business from Newcastle University (UK). In order to complete my thesis on user behavior in online environments, I used both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to gather data from users and their social media streams and then analyze it in various ways. I have good expertise with different CAQDAS such as Nvivo and Atlas, and now I am starting with MAXQDA. At Manizales University, I am currently the academic coordinator for the PhD in business program. At this university I am supervising several thesis and PhD and Masters levels employing qualitative research. I teach the qualitative methods course in the MBA program at the National University and serve as a guest lecturer for the research methods course for another PhD program at a university in Bogotá. For all my teaching , I am demostrating the fundamentals of MAXQDA for their final projects in the most recent iterations of the courses. |
