Experience

I hold a master's degree in population statistics and work as a M&E specialist in an American NGO. I have been a MAXQDA user since almost 5 years and have begun training other people since 2022. I have conducted multiple training sessions to help researchers and some colleagues (working in M&E) get in touch with MAXQDA. I also have provided one-on-one consultations in neighboring countries, focusing on using MAXQDA for the analysis of focus group discussions and key informant interviews. I have completed many research projects in MAXQDA, using various tools such as coding, memos, mixed methods, word clouds, and more. I am proficient in using most of MAXQDA's features, including importing data, viewing, editing, and coding data, as well as using memos and visual tools like word clouds, code maps, and document maps. I am also specialized in using mixed methods provided by MAXQDA. In addition, I am skilled in performing Twitter posts and YouTube comments analysis. My expertise extends to Interactive Quote Matrix, Crosstabs, Typology Tables, Similarity Analysis for Documents, Statistics by QUAL groups, and QUAL Themes by QUAN Groups.

My preference on MAXQDA for analyzing data lays on the fact that it is very simple to use, with several interesting tools and visuals which allow me analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data together.

My main goal as a trainer is to increase the number of people who can easily use the software in their research projects and who are able to take full advantage from the package of tools available in this software.
