I am a social scientist with an MA from the University of Chicago, where I was formally trained on using MAXQDA. I used the software for my MA thesis to transcribe, code, and analyze open-ended interviews using a grounded theory approach. I now use the program professionally to analyze in-depth interviews, semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and open-ended survey responses using qualitative and mixed-methods approaches. I have experience leading MAXQDA training sessions for both principal researchers and research assistants. I also hold a BA in Education and have experience leading classes both virtually and in-person.
