Survey and spreadsheet data often contain a combination of structured responses and open-ended text that require both quantitative organization and qualitative interpretation. This hands-on session demonstrates how to import, organize, and analyze Excel sheets and survey data in MAXQDA. Participants will learn how to prepare datasets, work with variables, code open-ended responses, filter and compare participant groups, and integrate qualitative and quantitative insights within a single project. The session also showcases MAXQDA's visualization and reporting tools to support transparent, mixed-methods analysis. By the end of the workshop, attendees will be equipped with practical techniques to efficiently analyze survey and Excel-based datasets and generate meaningful, data-driven findings.
