    This Spotlight provides an overview of how MAXQDA’s features can facilitate a thematic analysis, using the phases of Reflexive Thematic Analysis as described by Braun and Clarke (2021) as an example, but adaptable to other types of Thematic Analysis. Again, we will bring together MAXQDA users from around the world to share their knowledge and exchange ideas. This event provides a unique opportunity to learn from experts, discover new applications of MAXQDA, and connect with a global community of users.

  • Who can attend?

    MAXDAYS are open to everyone: Whether you are a long-term user or you have never worked with the software before. The event addresses students, universities, NGOs, governmental organizations and businesses alike.

  • What can I expect at MAXDAYS?

    You can expect sessions in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and English from our MAXQDA experts, demonstrating the various ways to use MAXQDA. The sessions range from basic to more advanced topics. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to connect with MAXQDA users from around the globe, share ideas, and build lasting relationships.

  • How do I register for the conference?

    The conference will be hosted on Zoom Events. You can register for MAXDAYS by using this link to our event platform on Zoom Events. No subscription for Zoom is requiered. Once registered, you will receive access to live-streamed sessions and digital materials through the platform. If you have any problems with the registration, you can always contact us at maxdays@maxqda.de.

  • Is there a registration fee?

    There is no fee. Participation is free of charge. No additional subscription is required.

  • How can I access the conference sessions during MAXDAYS?

    Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with details on how to log into the virtual conference platform. You can access sessions using the provided link and login credentials.

  • Will the sessions be available in different languages?

    There will be sessions in English, Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean. Also, the event platform Zoom offers the option to generate automated subtitles in your preferred language.

  • When will the MAXDAYS take place?

    The conference will take place on December, 2nd 2025 from 2pm until 9pm (JST). If you are from a time zone that does not fit the schedule, you will still be able to access all the recordings of the content at your convenience.

  • Can I watch the sessions after the event?

    Yes, each session will be recorded. If you are in a time zone that does not align with the conference schedule, you will have access to all the content at your convenience. Recordings will be made available to all registered participants after each session. You will be able to watch them for up to 30 days after the conference.

  • What are the technical requirements to participate?

    You will need a stable internet connection, a computer or mobile device, and a web browser.

  • Will I get access to the PowerPoint slides?

    Yes, all registered participants will have access to the PowerPoint slides used during the sessions. These materials will be available for download within the Zoom sessions and in the corresponding section of this site.

  • Can I get a certificate of attendance?

    Yes, participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon request. Please contact us after the conference at maxdays@maxqda.de.
