Experience

I'm a sociologist by training, hold a PhD in religious studies and am a methdologist for almost seven years. I have worked at the Netherlands Institute for Social Research where I was a methods coördinator and methodologist and provided many MAXQDA trainings to internal and external researchers. At the University of Amsterdam I studied relations between Amsterdammers who identified as Jewish or Muslim during the Israel-Gaza war of 2014. Nowadays, I work as a freelance methodologist, am one of the board members of Context-network (Dutch-Belgium network for qualitative methodology) and editor at Kwalon (Dutch journal/blog for qualitative methodology).
