Getting Started with MAXQDA Tailwind
Import Text Documents & Organize in Projects
After logging into MAXQDA Tailwind, you’ll land on the Projects page, where all your projects are neatly organized and easily accessible. For each project, the list displays the number of documents, identified topics, and generated summary tables, giving you an instant snapshot of your progress. Start your MAXQDA Tailwind journey by creating a new project, and enter a name, a description, and select which language the AI outputs should be written in. Once your project is set up, click on its name to open it and start importing your data from your computer.

After the import, MAXQDA Tailwind automatically generates detailed, interactive summaries for each file. These summaries provide a structured overview of your content. Interactive references enable you to jump directly to relevant text segments, making verification and further analysis effortless..

Two-Way Topic Discovery (AI)
Ask MAXQDA Tailwind to analyze the content of your files and create a list of important topics that are present in your data. Click “Find Topics”, and the AI will instantly analyze your data. You’ll receive a carefully curated list of topic suggestions, each accompanied by a brief description to provide additional context. This way, you can confidently decide which topics to keep. Alternatively, you can search for specific topics, manually create them, and MAXQDA Tailwind will find and summarize related content for you.
