Experience

A Professional MAXQDA Trainer since 2016, Dr. Syaltout has designed and delivered training in CAQDAS, qualitative research, mixed methods, network analysis, stakeholder analysis, and decision-support methodology.

His participants have included postgraduate students, lecturers, researchers, junior diplomats, policy analysts, senior public-sector officers, law-enforcement executives, intelligence practitioners, and corporate professionals.

His recent teaching includes executive programmes in national and regional economic intelligence for SESPIM POLRI and postgraduate Operations Management and Data Science at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. He has also trained junior diplomats at the Digital Command Centre of Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in applying CAQDAS and MAXQDA to diplomacy-related research, monitoring, and index development.

His teaching begins with the research question rather than the software. Participants learn how to progress from research design and corpus construction to coding, memoing, queries, visualisation, interpretation, and defensible reporting.

He places particular emphasis on methodological fit, transparency, researcher accountability, analytical traceability, and the ability to explain how conclusions emerge from evidence.
