 I am a medical doctor (MD-MPH) and clinical researcher with over 5 years of hands-on MAXQDA experience, having used it since 2021 as both a researcher and trainer. My MPH thesis, examining psychosocial and clinical dimensions of self-immolation, was analyzed entirely in MAXQDA and submitted to the Burns journal; two additional manuscripts on unindicated/excessive aesthetic surgery from qualitative interviews were also coded and analyzed using MAXQDA. I have served as an Academic Editor (PLOS ONE), Associate Editor (BMC Trials, Frontiers in Toxicology, Frontiers in Genetics), and have peer-reviewed for 18 journals, giving me strong methodological grounding to teach rigorous qualitative and mixed-methods analysis. As Deputy/Secretary General of the Student Research Committee at Lorestan University of Medical Sciences (2020-2022), I organized and personally delivered more than 12 MAXQDA training classes over three years to medical students and junior researchers, covering coding, thematic analysis, and mixed-methods integration. As Director of the USERN Office (2021-2024) and Director of the SERGN Research Network, I taught 3 additional structured MAXQDA courses to international research trainees. I have also delivered MAXQDA workshops at 4 national and international congresses, training clinicians and postgraduate students in qualitative software applications for medical and surgical research. My research portfolio spans over 110 peer-reviewed publications across urology, oncology, biomarkers, surgery, and medical education, several of which incorporated qualitative or mixed-methods components analyzed in MAXQDA. I am comfortable teaching both introductory and advanced MAXQDA functions, including code system development, mixed-methods integration, visual tools, and team collaboration features, and I am highly motivated to expand my role as a Professional MAXQDA Trainer to support the medical and health research community.
