PDF display issues: blurred text, page jumps, and zoom in

Hello all

PDF files are displaying blurred on my 4k monitor. This can be fixed by using the scroll wheel on my mouse to zoom in and out, but each time I do this it jumps to a different page and I lose my place (e.g if I'm on p.84 at 70% magnification, using the scroll wheel to reduce to 63% magnification jumps me to p. 74)

Also, while the Ctrl- key command works, the Ctrl+ command doesn't...

Hello and thank you for reporting this behaviour,

We have forwarded it as feedback to our development team so that 4K screens can be better supported.

You can try to reset the user settings to see if that helps with the blurred text: To reset the user settings, please klick on the setting bars in the bottom left. Go to "User Interface" and choose "Reset user settings" and press "OK”. MAXQDA will close and restart and all interface options will be reset to default.
