MAXQDA Reader and Regular Version on same computer

Hi All,

This is my first post.

I'm the point of contact for MAXQDA in our organization and MAXQDA user. I have the full, network licensed version installed on my computer.

I want to also install the MAXQDA Reader on my same computer as the full version for two reasons:
1. So I can advise others on how to use the reader
2. So I can open multiple MAXQDA projects at the same time (the full version with network license only allows one instance at a time)

Any risk to installing the reader on the same computer as the full app?

Dear Bill Tuccio,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the MAXQDA forum.

Installing and running MAXQDA and MAXQDA Reader on the same computer is possible without any problems. Since they are two separate applications, both can be started and used at the same time.
