Audio files not importing

31.08.2021, 16:14

I'm having trouble importing my audio files. They are .wma files, which I'm pretty sure is a supported file type. But when I click the "Audio" button to import them, they appear 'greyed out' and won't allow me to select them. I am able to select the video files in the same folder. However, my audio files were used for transcription purposes - so the timestamps don't match the video files (otherwise, I'd just use those for now and figure this out later). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - Julie

Dear Julie,

Thank you for posting here! Indeed, "wma" is a windows data type and therefore can't be imported on a Mac. But you can easily convert the files into a supported data type that can be imported on Mac as well, e.g. ".wav"

We hope this helps!
