Trainerdetails

I began using MAXQDA in 2017 during a research project on mathematics assessment in primary education, which was later presented at the MAXQDA International Conference 2020 and awarded second place for Best Poster. Since then, I’ve contributed to the MAXQDA Research Blog and co-authored a book chapter on qualitative content analysis using MAXQDA.

Throughout my academic work, MAXQDA has been a core tool—for organizing literature reviews, analyzing qualitative data, and visualizing theoretical frameworks. I’ve used it in various education-focused projects, including recent studies on early childhood education and time organization, presented at the MAXQDA Conference 2024.

Beyond research, I integrate MAXQDA into teaching and training. I’ve led workshops at ISPA – Instituto Universitário, introduced the software to students at the University of Madeira, and continue to support PhD supervision and methodological planning at the University of Lisbon. My goal is to promote rigorous, reflective, and digitally literate research practices across all levels of higher education.
