• (Jr.) UI Designer (m/f/x), 20-25 hrs.

  Your tasks:

  • Generate new assets and design components according to the design system guidelines for integration into existing projects,
  • Work on refining specific UI elements such as buttons, icons, or color schemes based on established design guidelines and feedback,
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the design system and asset management, ensuring that it’s up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible for the design team,
  • Conceptualize and define features, user stories, and benchmarks through rapid wireframing and high-fidelity prototyping,
  • Create delightful and intuitive user experiences that resonate with our users,
  • Develop user interface designs from concept to final hand-off, ensuring a visually appealing, intuitive, and functional user experience,
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including UX designers, developers, and product managers to translate wireframes and prototypes into well-executed designs.

  What we are looking for:

  • Completed studies in communication, media, or interaction design, or a comparable qualification,
  • Strong understanding of design principles including typography, color theory, and layout design,
  • Ability to create responsive designs for various devices,
  • Knowledge of user interface design best practices and trends,
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new design technologies and methodologies,
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
  • Have a genuine love for design that reflects in your work, coupled with a collaborative team spirit,
  • Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in German considered a bonus,
  • Familiarity with Agile software development (e.g. Jira) and Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for web development would be nice to have,
  • A reliable, independent way of working, team spirit and analytical thinking complete your profile.
