I was working as analyst in sociology at the project “Livelihoods Strategies of Private Households in Central Asia. A Rural-Urban Comparison in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan from march 2010 – September 2013, for which we conducted a qualitative data analysis with MAXQDA. The second project in which I am currently using MAXQDA is “Gender in Society Perceptions Study: Youth Component (GSPS YC) of the Kyrgyz Republic”, originated by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women in Kyrgyzstan. In my function as a sociological analyst (from May 2015 till now) I gave a workshop and taught researchers how to use MAXQDA. Our team collected 350 interviews and is currently coding the data with MAXQDA.

Besides this, I am currently giving a qualitative research methods course at the American University in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) where I introduce students into MAXQDA.
