Managing Your Account

On this page, you’ll learn how to create a MAXQDA Account and how to manage it, including updating your profile, changing your email or password, adjusting language settings, and deleting your account.

🚀 Creating your MAXQDA Account

To use MAXQDA Tailwind, you need a free MAXQDA Account. The MAXQDA Account lets you log into MAXQDA Tailwind and other MAXQDA cloud tools.

To create a MAXQDA Account:

1. Navigate to the following page: https://tailwind.maxqda.com/login
2. Click Sign Up below the Login button to access the registration page.
3. Fill in the required fields and click Register.
4. Finally, follow the prompt to confirm your account by clicking the link in the confirmation email.

🔑 Manage Your MAXQDA Account

To manage your MAXQDA Account directly in MAXQDA Tailwind:

1. Click on your avatar and username located at the bottom of the navigation sidebar on the left.
2. Then, click  MAXQDA Account Settings.

On the Account Settings page, you can:

• Change your profile picture:
  • Hover over the profile picture and click it.
  • Select Upload image and choose a file (max. 2 MB).
• Update your name:
  • Click on the respective name fields to edit them.
  • After making changes, click either Save to implement changes or Cancel to discard them.
• Change your interface language:
  • Use the language menu to switch between English and German.
• Change your email address: Modify your email address.
  • Click Change Email.
  • Enter your new email address.
  • Click Save to confirm or Cancel to discard.
  • Check your email and confirm the change using the link provided.
• Update your password:
  • Click Change Password.
  • Check your email for a six-digit confirmation code.
  • Enter your new password twice and click Save to confirm.
• Delete Account:
  • Click Delete Account and confirm that you wish to proceed.
  • Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data across MAXQDA services, including Tailwind.

🔒Logging In and Out

Logging In via MAXQDA Tailwind

Go to: https://tailwind.maxqda.com/login, enter your credentials, and click Log In.

Logging In via MAXQDA Dashboard

If you’re an AI Assist, TeamCloud, or MAXQDA Transcription user, you may prefer to log in via the MAXQDA Dashboard, where you can access all the MAXQDA cloud services, including MAXQDA Tailwind.

• Go to: https://account.maxqda.com/login.
• Enter your credentials, and click Log In.
• Click on the MAXQDA Tailwind.

Logging Out

You can log out of MAXQDA Tailwind using the sidebar. To sign out, follow these steps:

1. Click on your avatar located at the bottom of the navigation sidebar.
2. Click Log Out.
3. You will be logged out of your account and redirected to the login screen.
