I have a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and have taught qualitative research courses across more than 10 institutions for more than 20 years. I have used NVivo, Atlas.ti, and am now adding MaxQDA to my repertoire of QDAs. I am layering MaxQDA over my previous experiences with QDAs, so my approach to workshops is to introduce participants to QDAs in general so they can transfer easily to this platform. I teach qualitative research courses and chair doctoral students year round, so it gives me lots of opportunity to utilize MaxQDA.
