Linking two different codes

24.04.2023, 17:04

Hello everyone,

I am working on a project in which I try to link two different codes and show their inter-dependency. The main point is that one argument (coded segment) facilitates/justifies the other point (coded segment) but they do not typically appear at the same point in the text.

I have only found the option to link one segment to the other but I don't understand what this feature actually does and it doesn't seem to have any consequences for the analysis later (at least it doesn't group the two segments together or show their connection in the list of coded segments). Also, the option to link the segments doesn't allow to characterise the relationship between the two (e.g. x justifies y). This seems to come down to an additional note/memo.

Has anyone any idea for how to solve that problem? Help is much appreciated.

Thanks
Fabian
