Experience | I am a human geographer specializing in immigration enforcement, legal geographies, and the politics of policing. I have used MAXQDA for 10 years as tool to conduct literature reviews, generate mixed-methods data sets, and analyze qualitative data (including interviews, field images, websites, etc.). I have conducted many MAXQDA trainings in the past, first during graduate school at the Ohio State University and later at Syracuse University. In 2018, I joined the MAXQDA user conference in Berlin, Germany as a trainer. I am currently a co-PI on a research project that studies the perceptions and experiences of immigration attorneys in the United States. I am using MAXQDA to organize and analyze a large corpus of qualitative research interviews. |
