How to Transport the Matrix in SPSS
To export the matrix to SPSS, select to export the file in TXT format by way of a button on the toolbar in the results window. Exporting by saving the file temporarily on the clipboard does not work well due to SPSS’s restrictions regarding variable names. In addition, only numerical variables can be copied into the SPSS data editor, so string variables would be lost.
