Issue after update

I upgraded to 11.2.4 and my file will not open. I get an error that says "MAXQDA can't open the chosen file. The file may be already opened, or it has the wrong file format, or it may be broken". I do use Dropbox to open the file between two Macs (both licensed). The reader on the other machine CAN open the file, but no the regular full copy. Help!

Hi mustur,

Many thanks for your post. We are not aware of such an issue, but maybe the file is locked somehow by Dropbox or another application. Maybe it helps to copy the file to another location on your Mac, e.g. on the desktop and then opening it from there.

Please note that we do not recommend to open a project from within Dropbox:

Another note: the latest version of MAXQDA 11 for Mac is 11.2.5 - you can try to update your installation via the menu "Help > Search for updates".
