Print/Export Coded Document

12.01.2017, 18:43

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to print or export a coded document with each coded segment highlighted with the colour attributed to the code and the stripes with the code names?

Thank you,

Hi moura,

You can do this by using a PDF printer. You can install a free PDF printer on your machine, like http://freepdfxp.de/index_en.html and then print one document after the other via "Project > Print > Displayed Document".

To hightlight the coded segments within the text, you need to right click in the Document Browser in the grey area next to the text and select the option "Color-coded text".

Best regards,

Hi Patricia,

It is not possible to print annotations (I think you mean memos and comments) alongside a text.

You can only export the coded segments together with the memos in a table, e.g. for Excel:
http://www.maxqda.com/en/support/help/m ... gments.htm

If you autocode each paragraph of a document (by using the function "Lexial search" for a common letter like "e" and autocoding the context "paragraph") you will be able to export the memos alongside the coded segments.

Maybe this idea helps,
Stefan
