Hello and thank you for your question,

When retrieving segments, only the segment itself is retrieved. For this reason, it is important to choose a helpful size for the segment when coding. If you want to retrieve the context of single words you can use the Keyword in Context feature described here: https://www.maxqda.com/help-mx22-dictio/keyword-in-context
