Web Collector URL as Document Variable?

Is there an elegant way to have a document url as a variable for all documents imported via Web Collector?

The Web Collector knows what the url is and adds it to the document memo, but that is embedded withing a lot of other text, and requires writing scripts to extract. It would be fabulous to have the url as a document variable.

Thoughts?
