Fix coding errors

26.02.2020, 01:59

Hi- if you make an error in your coding and find that you've coded to a segment at the word level when you wanted to code at the paragraph or document level is it possible to expand the size of the segment? I realise you can do it one at a time but we have lots. It would be great if we could do a bulk instruction.

Yes, you can.

For an individual code, select the text you wanted, right-click the code, and select
'Recode with Highlighted Segment

To recode multiples, is there a common word or phrase that Lexical search could find? If so you could use that to autocode all those segments
