Is it possible to print out a document with the content of memos side-by-side with the text?

Hi kandes,

thanks for your question and welcome to the MAXQDA forum! We are happy to have you.

But unfortunately, the short answer is no: You can display (/export) paraphrases or comments in the side column, but not Memos. However, using the "Memo Overview" (Tab "Reports") you can export them selectively for individual documents – and the columns "Begin" and "End" will tell you where the Memo can be found. Maybe you can print this overview as well and simply put it next to your document on your desk? Having everything in the side column would probably also be a bit too much..

We hope this helps! If not, or in case of any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

The more I think about this, the more I like it as a feature request :)

It would be really useful as an expert/report feature similar to paraphrase
