You have purchased a new computer and want to transfer your MAXQDA license?

If you want to transfer your MAXQDA 12 license to a different computer (Windows or Mac), you will first have to deactivate the previous installation. Open your existing installation of MAXQDA and click “Help > Deactivate license on this computer”. You will be asked if you are sure that you want to deactivate the license. Clicking “Yes” will deactivate your license so that you may re-activate it with your serial number on your new computer.
