Workshop Beschreibung<\/h3>\r\n
\"Mixed<\/figure>\r\n

Die Workshopleiter werden zuerst einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber Geschichte und Grundz\u00fcge des unter dem Begriff der Mixed Methods Research (MMR) bekannt gewordenen Forschungsansatzes geben. Der \u00dcberblick schlie\u00dft einen kurzen Vergleich qualitativer und quantitativer Forschung sowie eine Diskussion der Konzepte von Mixing und Integration mit ein. Dabei stellen die Workshopleiter die verschiedenen Arten von MMR vor und setzen sie jeweils zu Forschungsfragen in Bezug. Anschlie\u00dfend werden bekannte Mixed Methods Design Typologien (u.a. Creswell and Plano Clark, 2011) diskutiert und konkrete Vorschl\u00e4ge gemacht, wie durch weiterf\u00fchrende Designs spezifische Forschungsfragen bearbeitet werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\r\n

Dazu werden relevante Arten von Validit\u00e4t in der qualitativen und quantitativen Forschung angesprochen sowie die neun wichtigsten Varianten von Validit\u00e4t\/Legitimation in der MMR ausgeleuchtet, um den Teilnehmenden den Aufbau eines aussagekr\u00e4ftiges und belastbares Forschungsdesigns zu vermitteln. Zuletzt wird sich der Workshop mit der Datenanalyse in der MMR auseinandersetzen. Die saubere und effiziente Kombination von Elementen der MMR (Forschungsfrage, Forschungsdesign, Validit\u00e4tstypen, und Datenanalyse) werden es den Teilnehmenden erlauben, mit eigenen MMR Studien produktive Ergebnisse zu erzielen.<\/p>\r\n

Voraussetzungen: Teilnehmende sollten ihre eigenen Forschungsfragen mitbringen, um ein gemeinsames Nachdenken \u00fcber ihre eigene MMR-Studie mit Hilfe der Workshopleiter zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\r\n

Prof. Burke Johnson<\/h3>\r\n
\"Prof.Prof. Burke Johnson ist Professor an der University of South Alabama und einer der weltweit profiliertesten Wissenschaftler im Feld der Mixed-Methods-Ans\u00e4tze. Burke besitzt einen Master-Degree in Soziologie und in Psychologie und wurde an der University of Georgia in Educational Research and Evaluation promoviert. Gemeinsam mit Larry Christensen hat er das jetzt in dritter Auflage erschienene Lehrbuch „Educational Research. Quantitative, qualitative and Mixed Approaches“ verfasst. Er hat zahlreiche Artikel im Journal for Mixed Methods Research publiziert und ist mit Beitr\u00e4gen in den f\u00fchrenden Handb\u00fcchern und Sammelb\u00e4nden vertreten. Soeben ist bei Oxford University Press das von ihm gemeinsam mit Sharlene Hesse-Biber herausgegebene Oxford Handbook of Multimethod and Mixed Methods Research Inquiry erschienen. Burke ist der Executive Director der 2014 neu gegr\u00fcndeten wissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft MMIRA (Mixed Methods International Research Association).<\/p>\r\n

Prof. Udo Kuckartz<\/h3>\r\n

\"Prof.Prof. Udo Kuckartz<\/a> ist emeritierter Professor f\u00fcr Empirische Erziehungswissenschaft und Methoden der Sozialforschung an der Philipps-Universit\u00e4t Marburg und leitet die Marburger Arbeitsgruppe f\u00fcr Methoden und Evaluation (MAGMA). Nach einem Studium der Politikwissenschaft und Soziologie an der RWTH Aachen folgte die Promotion an der TU Berlin (Soziologie) und die Habilitation f\u00fcr Empirische Erziehungwissenschaft an der Freien Universit\u00e4t Berlin. Udo Kuckartz lehrte und forschte an der FU Berlin, der TU Dresden, der Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t Berlin und der Marburger Philipps-Universit\u00e4t. Er hat zahlreiche B\u00fccher und mehr als 200 wissenschaftliche Beitr\u00e4ge und Aritkel in Fachzeitschriften verfasst. Zuletzt erschienen „Qualitative Inhaltsanalyse. Methoden, Praxis, Computerunterst\u00fctzung“ (2014 bei Beltz Juventa), „Statistik eine verst\u00e4ndliche Einf\u00fchrung“ (Springer VS) und „Mixed Methods. Methodologie, Forschungsdesigns und Analyseverfahren“ (beide 2014 bei Springer VS).<\/p>\r\n
