Importing Word Files on my Mac using VMWare

Hi,

I have just installed MAXQDA10 on my Mac and am going through the Webtutorial, however I am unable to import any word files. They are technically saved on my Mac - do I have to save them into my Virtual Windows?

Hi Sophie,

to import Word files MAXQDA needs an installation of Microsoft Word in the Windows installation (in the VMWare).
Please try to save your files as RTF in your MAC installation and import them again.
