Conference Overview
The CAQDAS Networking Project are pleased to remind you about the “CAQDAS 07 Conference : Advances in Qualitative Software”. This conference is broad in scope to reflect recent developments in IT and qualitative analysis and focuses on advances which support the whole process of conducting various forms of qualitative research; including for example, reference to voice recognition and transcription software, video preparation and processing applications, text analysis and hypertext tools as well as those software packages traditionally understood to fall under the CAQDAS umbrella.
Meet developers
This conference is an opportunity to bring together methodologists, users, developers and trainers of software designed to facilitate qualitative research, to discuss and share methods, applications and experiences.
CAQDAS 07 attracts considerable interest from many major software developers. The organisers are confident that they will see this as an opportunity to bring along some of their new and existing products. Developers are always keen to discuss user’s requirements and problems, so this will be an ideal opportunity for all delegates to meet developers face to face, and contribute to the development of future products.
Software Developers and Publishers will have stands providing information on their products from Tuesday 17th April 2007 and throughout the conference.
Plenary speakers
The Conference has already attracted some renowned experts in their field including…
Professor Udo Kelle, Institute of Sociology, Philipps University of Marburg, Germany
Professor Clive Seale, Department of Sociology & Communications, Brunel University, London
