MAXMaps Not Working

15.01.2014, 20:34

Hello Guys,

Today I tried to use the MAXMaps feature for the first time, but unfortunately the whole program terminated suddenly directly after I tried to add a new map model (Map -> New Model -> Choose anything). I tried even to reinstall the software, but it didn't solve the problem. I'm using the latest update 11.0.4, Windows 8.1 64bit. Following is a screenshot of the error message before the software gets completely terminated.

Please apply a fix ASAP.

Thanks,

Hello,

many thanks for your post. Is it possible that you send your project to our online support via our web formula:
http://www.maxqda.com/support/onlinesupport ?

We will have a look at the project, because we are not aware of a problem with creating new models in MAXMaps and think there might be a problem in the project.

Best regards,
Stefan

I suspected this also at the beginning, however, it's not the case. The same problem appears even when you try to create a new project. Just try to create a new project, then go and add a new map model. That's all it takes to crash the software. BTW: did you try it on Windows 8.1 64bit? This could be the problem.

What do you think?

Yes, we tried Win 8.1 64 Bit.
We just saw that you have contacted us by mail also and will continue the conversation by mail and will post a solution here.
