MAXQDA User Conference (CAQD)
March 7-10, 2012 in Marburg
The MAXQDA user conference, CAQD (Conference on Computer-Aided Qualitative Data Analysis), is an annual conference offering a combination of workshops on MAXQDA and qualitative research as well as high-profile keynote speeches, poster sessions, and networking possibilities for MAXQDA users. This year, for the first time in the conference’s 14-year history, CAQD is aimed at an international audience.
CAQD Workshops
The conference offers a wide range of workshops for advanced users and beginners as well as discussions on methodology and research practice reports. For example:

Keynote speeches will be given by Professor John Creswell (University of Nebraska/USA) and Professor Nigel Fielding (University of Surrey/UK). Both scholars are leading international experts in research methods, particularly in mixed methods approaches.
There will also be an evening lecture (in German) by Professor Jo Reichertz (University of Duisburg-Essen/Germany), one of the leading scholars of qualitative methods and communication science in Germany.
The 14th CAQD conference will be held from March 7-10, 2012 in the beautiful university town of Marburg, Germany. It is hosted by the Marburg Research Group for Methods & Evaluation (MAGMA) and the Philipps-University Marburg.
