MAXdictio - 4. Exporting to MS-Excel

We want to show you especially vividly how MAXdictio can be used, so we prepared some exercises which are explained additionally with screenshots and comments. You can follow the examples yourself if you download the following MAXqda-file which contains the texts of the four gospels.

In the fourth example we want to use statistical methods to analyze the matrix of the category-frequencies.

We can save the table which the coder created as a text-file, so that it can be exported to SPSS or Excel later.

The exported matrix has been saved in text-format. For further processing in Excel, just pull the file into the Excel-worksheet by drag and drop with the left mouse-button.

It would be even better to open the matrix in SPSS, because here you can join the data together with other data, e.g. the variable-matrix from MAXqda.
