VERBI provides for students a heavily reduced single-user license.
Validate your student status
A student license can only be ordered by students or postgraduates haven proven their status by submitting a current student ID together with a photo ID (e.g. drivers license).
Student licenses are not eligible to be sold or transferred in any way to non-students.
Installation on one single computer only
Student licenses are not eligible for upgrades and can be installed on one single computer only.
Private License
This license is PERSONAL AND PRIVATE and may under no circumstances be installed on a non-private computer. In case a student license holder works on his thesis/graduation using a computer of the university/college, he/she is allowed to install his/her license on this particular computer of the university/college. The license holder has to guarantee that the MAXQDA license is used solely for personal work on the thesis/graduation. In no case may the student license be used for other purposes of the institute - neither in case the institution requires the license holder to work on such purposes nor in case any staff members of the institute work on that computer. Moreover, the license holder is obliged to completely deinstall her/his MAXQDA license from the computer of the university/college as soon as she/he has completed her/his thesis/graduation.
